MELBUL TOV ("Melbul", "we") provides programming, IT consulting and infrastructure management, data processing and hosting, web portals, news agency and information services, public relations, consulting and advertising. This policy explains how we handle personal data under the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection", the Law of Ukraine "On Media" and the GDPR.

2. Journalism

Our newsroom processes personal data of people in the news for journalistic purposes, as permitted by law and balanced against the public interest. If you believe a report about you is inaccurate, contact the editor; we correct errors promptly.

3. Sources

We protect the confidentiality of sources in line with the law and journalistic ethics.

4. Clients and journalists we contact

Client contacts and contracts; professional contacts of journalists for media relations, with a way to opt out in every message.

5. Hosting and development

When we host or process data for clients, we act as a processor under a data processing agreement.

6. Feed subscribers

Contacts and billing data of media and corporate subscribers.

7. Purposes and grounds

Journalistic purposes, performance of contracts, legitimate interests (media relations), consent (newsletters), legal obligations.

8. Recipients

Hosting providers, media outlets as instructed by clients, payment providers, authorities where required. We do not sell personal data.

9. Your rights

You may access, correct and delete your data (subject to legal retention and journalistic exemptions), restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy and withdraw consent. We reply within 30 days. Complaints may be addressed to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or an EU supervisory authority.
